Excellent place to stay, Hosts friendly, helpful, breakfast was awesome. Room clean with excellent amenities. Best set up handicapped bath I have EVER seen in first floor room.
Breakfast in the morning was perfect in size and big in taste (fresh fruit with a delicious yogurt and orange cream sauce & cornmeal, dried cherry pancakes and bacon!) was the perfect way to start our day before hitting the slopes!
Innkeepers Mike & Julie have thought of every last detail at this beautiful, historic inn. They've added so many wonderful modern touches that make it true to who they are without taking away from the great history of the building/rooms.
Absolutely a must stay. Everything was wonderful and the meals were fabulous.
We've stayed in many different places in the past, but this, by far, was a favorite! If you're in the area for a ski weekend, VT getaway, or a special occasion, I would HIGHLY recommend seeing if the Golden Stage Inn B&B has a room for you!
Stayed here back in winter of ‘15, and it was a great experience. So friendly and cozy, and the breakfast was amazing.
The house was built in the 1700's but it is very well maintained. 10 minutes from the ski slope.

We were lucky enough to stay in Otis's room - where classic charm met modern elegance - a gas fireplace in the middle of the room and jetted bathtub with heated bathroom floors were a few of the key elements that really grabbed our attention. Everything is meticulously cleaned but in a way that makes you feel right at home - perhaps it was the bottomless cookie jar and fresh mulled apple cider that did the trick upon our arrival? ;)
The only downside is that we could not stay longer.
