Stayed here two nights for my partner's mother's birthday. The room was plenty large enough, clean, and had a neat forest view. The staff was very friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice, but I felt they should offer more free options. They introduce you to the sections and tell you "everything past the yogurt you have to pay for". So basically, you get cereal, some pastries, and yogurt. The view of the mountains in front of the hotel is phenomenal. There is a beautiful creek that was running right next to the hotel while we were there, but it had just rained. I'd stay here again, most definitely!
Booked the King Suite for a Vermont weekend getaway at the Pointe (Rm 262). It was a one bedroom apartment in a hotel. Full sized kitchen appliances, granite countertops and cabinets were stocked with all the tools...pots, plates, silverware, glasses, coffee pot with complimentary coffee packs, etc. Even had a washer and dryer. You do not need to bring a thing! Gas fireplace was nice to have on a cool September evening. There was even a recliner and sleeper sofa in the living room. Gave 4 stars because I wish the TV was bigger and the furniture was a little dated but that was just minor details. The room felt very comfortable...just like home. Entire place was clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Basic small gym, indoor and outdoor (heated) pool, and snack machines in the hotel. We ate a delicious three course dinner at the Castle which is a small walk up a hill from the main hotel. Would definitely recommend!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was not feeling well and the front desk rushed to get me a glass of milk from the kitchen since they did not have any tums available. If I have occasion to visit this small mountain town again then I will definitely stay here!
Nice hotel. TV was pretty small and had poor picture quality. Coffee was terrible. Our room was nice and had a jetted tub since they have us a handicap room. It was also ginourmous. Recommend eating breakfast at Vermont's Apple Pie Breakfast Bakery Restaurant up the road instead of at the hotel.
This hotel was very clean and very accommodating. Their "little touches" that they provided for us will definitely make me come back. Every time I'm going to Vermont this is the hotel I'll book! Thank you for making our anniversary that much better!
This is a nice hotel in the small town of Ludlow, Vermont. We were there in the fall which is a slow time of year since it's not yet ski season. The hotel is cozy with beds that are actually comfortable and towels that are actually soft! There is complimentary coffee and tea available all day. They offer a hot buffet breakfast, but we opted to go to a cafe in the area instead so I can't speak to that.
